Postpartum Depression

  • Postpartum Support International (PSI) – An international organization that provides education and support around postpartum depression & psychosis. They offer online support groups for not only postpartum, but also for Apoyo Perinatal (spanish speaking), Queer parents, birth moms, South-Asian moms, Black Mamas Matter, Dads, pregnancy, NICU, Military and pregnancy loss.
  • The Blue Dot Project – Raising awareness about Maternal Mental Health (MMH) disorders, this organization shares information and resources relating to postpartum anxiety and depression.

  • Autism Speaks – Promotes solutions for parents of children with Autism.
  • Parent to Parent USA – Connects parents of special needs children to free, accessible, emotional support.
  • Federation for Children with Special Needs – Provides support, education, training and workshops to parents of children with special needs.
  • Ability Connection Colorado – Facilitates individual development for children through family support and a nurturing environment; promoting social-emotional, cognitive, communicative and physical development.
  • Chanda Center for Health – Delivers integrative care, primary care and other complementary services to improve health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs to individuals with physical disabilities.
  • Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition – Advocates for social justice for people (including children) with all types of disabilities.
  • Division for Developmental Disabilities (DDD) – Medicaid programs for individuals (including children) with a physical or developmental disability.
  • Early Intervention Colorado – Provides support and services to families with developmentally delayed or special needs children (birth – 3 years).
  • JFK Partners – A program of the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Colorado of Medicine, JFK conducts evidence-based interdisciplinary clinical care, education, research and community partnerships to enrich the lives of children, youth, and adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and special health care needs.
  • National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD) – Strives to advance the health and well-being of infants, children and adults with birth defects.
  • PEAK Parent Center – Helps parents of children with disabilities learn how to become lifelong advocates for inclusion in school and the community.
